This 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova two-door Sport Coupe is a custom build completed circa 2009 with work that included fabricating body components, refinishing the exterior in red, and customizing the interior. It is powered by a fuel-injected RamJet 350ci V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.
The exterior was refinished in red during the build. Styling features include a raised-cowl hood, recessed headlights and taillights, a horizontal-slat grille, shaved emblems and door handles, flush-mounted tinted glass, and body-color bumpers along with chrome mirrors and custom front and rear valances.
The car rides on polished wheels measuring 15″ up front and 17″ at the rear fitted with faux knockoff-style hubs. It is equipped with an adjustable suspension featuring coilovers, tubular front control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, and a triangulated four-link rear setup. Braking is handled by hydroboosted four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in tan leather along with a custom-molded dashboard, center console, and coordinated door panels and carpeting. Equipment includes a B&M shifter, air conditioning, power windows, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a JVC stereo system.
The fuel-injected RamJet 350ci V8 is fitted with a twin-pipe intake, ram’s horn exhaust manifolds, and custom engine bay detailing including a shaved firewall and tucked wiring. Power is sent to the rear wheels through the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.
